About Dog River Publishing
Dog
River Publishing Company is interested in publishing
materials about love, relationships, poetry,
true inspirational stories and essays
(especially parent/child, teacher/student,
owner/pet themes), victorian art, original art
(art nouveau designs, poster art preferred),
unique recipes.
The editor is a high-school librarian and
certified English/French teacher . She has
been involved in writing and drawing
(children's stories), publishing student
magazines, and newsletters. She has enjoyed
writing poetry all of her life. In
college, her poems were selected by George
Peabody College (of Vanderbilt University) to
be sent to the Southern Literary Festival.
During her teaching career, she has created
several creative writing clubs, and published
literary magazines. She began a media
newsletter which was distributed to
county-wide media specialists in the Mobile
County Public Schools, and while working as a
reference librarian at the University of South
Alabama, she published (through the
University) the Index to
the Tulane Drama Review (for years1955-1962),
and Subject Collections and Lending Policies
of Alabama Libraries.
Dog River Publishing will consider any
material as long as it
is tasteful, and suitable to all audiences.
Absolutely no sexual or pornographic material
will be accepted.
